I Thought I Found Someone

After the successful release in June of their second album ‘Misfits’, The Stone Souls are treating us to a beautiful autumn record. A track that is not on the album but appeared as a bonus track on the vinyl version.

I thought I found someone is a melancholic song with a Nancy Sinatra-like sound from the 1960s. The song tells the story of an abandoned woman who looks back on a lost love. When she receives a letter from her former lover, she doubts whether it is wise to read it.

Immerse yourself in this dramatic story and don’t forget to watch the fantastic music video shot in LA, directed by Tyler-Marie Evans and starring Alina Lee (who we also saw in the clip of ‘In Another Life’) and Dan Roe.

Fun fact: The trumpets and euphoniums on the song are played by Theodor and Lina themselves.
