On Friday 11th November, Dutch folk-pop artist Sven Ross will release the heartwarming piano ballad “between you and me”, the second single off his upcoming second EP “now that i’m with you”.
The song is one of the most transparent displays of his lyrical and melodic craft with figurative and literal interpretations of the title evolving across the track. “Obviously, at certain times there is literally nothing in between people in a relationship, but a combination of the physical and healthy, mature communication is what, to me, makes a good relationship,” Sven says about the song.
Sven is currently touring the Netherlands as part of itinerant music festival “Popronde”, which sees him play 25+ shows in cities all over the country. The tour and single build on the solid foundation laid by the successful release of debut EP “Filled with Gold” and recent single “easy”. These releases have already brought national radio play, Spotify editorial playlists, 400k+ streams, and a spot in the finals of the Amsterdam singer-songwriter competition ‘Mooie Noten’; despite all this, Sven is not looking to rest yet.
