Behind the song – Lonely: “It’s supposed to be intense. I wanted to capture how loneliness can feel and sound. The fear of saying you are or feel lonely, and how this can be misinterpreted by others. How important mental health is and how painful loneliness can hit. Dice rolling and clocks burning. Exhaustion, blame, guilt, shame, denial, isolation… a call for help and awareness. All in Lonely.”
Lonely is part of Ioana’s fourth album, to be released later this year. All songs are written, produced, mixed and mastered by Ioana Iorgu.
