After four years Coral Springs is back with their new single ‘Mayday’. An energetic upbeat punk song with shredding guitars and powerful vocals. The song has been released on all streaming platforms, with an accompanying lyric video on YouTube.
After their debut album ‘Always Lost, Never Found’ was released in 2019 the band played shows all over the country, as well as shows and festivals in the UK, Finland, Belgium and Germany. After some downtime the band entered the studio earlier this year with producer Jasper van den Broek (o.a. Call It Off, Dowzer) to begin recording their follow up, of which ‘Mayday’ is the first release. This single is a first hint of things to come on their sophomore album, which will be released at a later point in time.
Coral Springs, with members hailing from Leiden and The Hague is defined by their balance between the irresistible catchiness of pop and the energy and intensity of punkrock. With these new songs, their “expect nothing, give everything” attitude, a modest ambition and free from pretentiousness Coral Springs is ready for (and looking forward to) anything that the future might bring.
