Rats and Daggers is a heavy punk POWERTRIO that focuses the intention of IDLES, the schwung of QOTSA and the fuck-it-all attitude of Amyl and The Sniffers into flying punkrock projectiles that awaken moshpits instantaneously. Live they are both disarming and exceptionally expressive whilst they play energetic, sincere punk straight from the tips of their toes. Sure to stir everyone in the room and offer them a moment of temporary escape.
Earlier this year they played Booster Festival and Valkhof Festival and they’ll close this year as Never Mind The Hype talent at the Popronde with over 25 shows in 3 months. They released the first part of their upcoming debut vinyl DAGGERS in October and will release the second half RATS November 18 together with the vinyl with label Lay Bare Recordings. They will celebrate this with a release show December 8 at DBs Utrecht with support from SULTAN. and Knife Massage.
For next year they are looking for a booker that can help them to get enough exposure to get into festival season whilst working on a second EP.
