On April 22nd Walden will release the first of a 4 song EP called Walden Freezing In The Attic. The EP will contain 3 alternate versions of Walden songs and 1 entirely new tune. Walden abandoned their original instrumentation and instead, used crappy drum machines, obsolete 90s kids synths, and a wonky organ. The songs were recorded live, complete with video, in the freezing cold of December 2021 at the band’s old hangout. The first track has a typical “Da Da Da-Esque” drumbeat, robot voices, an ugly synth-trumpet solo, and djembe rolls. It’s also very danceable!
