Blue Town debut with concept album 22:22

TRANI, ITALY – Blue Town’s first album, 22:22, is making its way through the impervious paths of the web, getting airplay on several playlists and radios, whilst keeping its aura of mystery with its multi-layered lyrics and different musical solutions.

Since they started the band, Michele Amoruso (guitars, vocals) and Vittorio Monticelli (bass, vocals) had the vision of an album of 22 minutes and 22 seconds that would be released on 22 February 2022; as the number 22 obsessed their lives in events and on their watches, the band had clear in mind that this work would have been through different phases and arrangements, with the aim of challenge themselves (helped by new drummer Nicola De Napoli) by merging their love for psychedelia and shoegaze with musical styles and influences that goes way back in time, giving the listener a “journey through different eras” indeed.

The release is available on Bandcamp for the digital release, and it’s free for listening on numerous platforms, such as Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud, Deezer, TikTok and many others. The release will be promoted with a series of dates in small clubs and venues in the south of Italy, as well as a series of articles and features on blogs and webzines.
