From The River (A Feeling) is the first single by psych/indie-rock Italians Martini Police as a 4-piece band, which already showcased its powerful sound and mystical vibe in their live gigs. A Feeling is the first release that anticipates the upcoming EP, releasing in March through AWAL distribution.
Inspired by Parcels’ funky vitality and ‘60s Babe Rainbow vibes, From The River (A Feeling) was born during a jam session. The iconic guitar theme moves fluidly on the lively instrumental, while the choral lyrics immediately deliver the message of the song: a lighthearted hymn to the positive energy of music.
From The River (A Feeling) was recorded live last summer, opening a new and evolved phase for the project: the retro aesthetic blends with the neo-psych imaginary, yielding a refined and structured sound.
The track was co-produced by Martini Police and Matteo Sciacca, live-recorded and mixed by Thomas Calvi (Reprieve Studio) and mastered by Alessandro Fumagalli at Robot Studio. The artwork was designed by Luca Poldelmengo.
