Band releases second single after NL IndieXL Chart #1 single ‘Friends’
On May 10th , Portland Row releases their second single ‘Taking Back’. After the well received debutsingle ‘Friends’ released in January 2021 ,reaching #1 in IndieXL NL Chart, the band was confronted with a major setback. Fire broke out in their studio damaging studio and destroying part of their equipment. The band is on the rebound now and decided it is time to rebuilt and focus on something positive. Releasing Taking Back was an obvious choice. The funky bassriff and catchy guitarhook open this upbeat song. It was written in the summer of 2020 when everyone was hoping to take back their old lives soon. Reality kicked in so here we are almost one year later, but with vaccinations progressing rapidly we are now 100% positive they we are ‘Taking Back’ our lives really soon!
