Dana, whilst born in Belgium, was raised in Greece, surrounded by mythology and stories of gods and goddesses. Inspired by fearless heroines like Athena, Hera & Aphrodite, Dana channels this Warrior spirit into her music, exploring the boundaries between tribal rhythms and cinematic pop with an epic edge.
Coat of Arms is the third single from her upcoming EP, set to be released in June. The EP is focused on an uplifting message of empowerment and overcoming darkness. Indeed ‘Coat of Arms’ is about the smell of revolution in the air right now and how we’re heading for a new beginning, a change of leadership that is young and bold, ready to fight the old customs that no longer have a place in today’s world.
The video was directed and edited by Dana herself and contains metaphorical symbols like an eagle and a red flag representing freedom and hope.
Dana is passionate about encouraging people to unveil their inner Warrior by changing how they perceive themselves. She has made it her mission to uplift and empower fans across the globe by creating a world through music, performance and community, where people can connect and express their ideas freely and where society’s archaic ideals are no longer the norm.
