We all interact with space, time and change.
Wanted To Run is a song about second chances. For all of us, our days follow a path bound by choice and circumstance. Prevailing social structures limit our choice. At the end of the day we all seek a way of least resistance.
Stepping off the path is hard, and requires courage that is often out of reach. Perhaps the luckiest of us know no path at all.
Wanted To Run is also about a friend who passed away too young. To this day, few people know what happened.
Those that were lucky enough to hang out, shoot hoops, and go to gigs knew someone who did not care for paths, and chose to walk to their own tune.
