Where Siberia Ended defines the joint between post-punk, alternative rock and grunge. The Delft-based band sculped their own distinctive sound, while being inspired by bands like Pearl Jam, Joy Division and Editors. It’s the dark baritone lead vocals that embody their music, backed-up by a colourful multilayerence of guitars and energetic drums.
With the release of the five-song EP ‘Dead End City’, Where Siberia Ended introduced itself formally in 2019. After a cryosleep of three years the band made its way back to the studio for recording new songs for their upcoming album ‘Scar Tissue’.
‘Wasted (Dance With Me)’ is the band’s first single release. The song describes the sudden encounter with a charming homeless and alcohol-addicted lady, back when singer Eddie was a little boy playing in the nearby park. Looking at her, he felt the urge to help her yet being powerless to do so.
The release of ‘Wasted (Dance With Me)’ marks just the first chapter of Where Siberia Ended’s restart. So stay tuned for more!
