Pure chemistry… working in the studio with your eyes closed, smiling… Not able to sleep the night before recording like it’s your 8th birthday. Just having a party with the microphones open and the tape rolling. And pure amazement when it all comes together. Some people do drugs, we just make music.
And what about this band name? LFrQx is short for Low Frequencies. Low, because they reach the furthest and get the attention.
LFrQx is a quintet: Mara, Andre, Bas, Mimi & Lela. We are working on our live set which we are going to perform at the end of 2023. We just could not wait to release them. So here it is! The first single. Simply called ‘Mars’. Mars makes you want to jump and dance on the beach while you sing along “People will be dancing like they fly to Mars!”
