After the successful release of a number of singles, SweetMilk presents their first EP: ‘Changing Moods’. As the title suggests, songwriter Mike sings with his solid rock voice about various topics and the moods involved; enjoying the enthusiasm and dreams of his soccer-playing son (Little Things), worrying about his teenage daughter growing up
(Sweet Daydreamer), his frustrations about a relationship in which he felt used (Empty Words), lingering in gloom (Sometimes It Rains) to encourage and motivate himself to take advantage of his newfound freedom ( Do What You Wanna Do).
All these themes are shaped in the classic rock sound that is so characteristic of SweetMilk with pounding drums, solid guitars and solid bass and keyboard parts…. but here and there also a good dose of pop and soul! Guest contributions are from Evert Zeevalkink (Tim Akkerman, Claudia de Breij) on guitar and Floor Kraayvanger (The Etta James Experience) and Heidi Kraan as backing vocals.
