While Jesper Vervoort (jespfur) already had 7 songs done for this concept in 2018. Weak Moves started performing as a group in summer 2021 planting seeds all over The Netherlands. The Amsterdam & Rotterdam based band takes bits from Shoe-Gaze, Slow-core & Post-Punk.
After 5 years Weak Moves has now turned into a 4 piece band of highly multitalented musicians who just released the first EP called Geodesic. After a succesfull sold out release event in Cinetol, Amsterdam the project is already sneaking into various niches worldwide & getting shared by pioneers in scenes mentioning it being very unique for “a dutch based band”
A Weak moves show is experienced intense & energetic where they conversate with an audience by changing tempos spontaneously and letting themselves walk on the exact same pavement as the crowd and vice versa.
